Choosing a Genre to Compose In

The purpose with my research was to tell my audience about a campus ministry here at FSU, the BCM. I feel that a poster, flyer and a PowerPoint would be the best genres to compose in. The flyer could be used to promote an event that they will be hosting. The poster could be used to promote the Tuesday service that they do every week and the PowerPoint to tie it all together. I feel that my audience won't be that familiar with my topic since its a specific organization. Some assumptions they might make is that they are bent on converting people to Christianity. I will connect with my audience by telling a personal story to make me not seem arrogant. I feel that an informal tone would be best to say what I want to get across so my audience will pay attention. I enjoy composing in flyers because they're easy to make and can be handed out, they also are artistic for my lack of ability.
