Things to Consider

Individual Workshop

  1. I believe there are enough details when I’m describing the cafeteria. There’s an office which the manager uses filled with cooking supplies for Friday treat, tables spread throughout the cafeteria, a book-cart and a game-cart.

  2. I’m on staff and am much older than the kids I’m supervising. They call me “Coach Stephen” as a sign to show that I’m an authoritative figure over them and responsible for their safety.

  3. I’m going to use various activities that we’ve done within the cafeteria and using the different objects, such as the game-cart and the book-cart. I’ll be including the separate times that something really stood out to me and created a lasting memory.

  4. The intended audience will pretty much anyone who enjoys reading stories about other people’s lives.

  5. The values I’m assuming the reader has are, they should laugh at the mistakes I’ve made but also feel sympathy for the children that have had interesting experiences with all of us at this work. Most of us have done things that we should have been reprimanded for but never had. I will be tapping into that by expanding details on the event as it takes place, with rarely any background information about the individual.
