S-Town & Ysrael

S-Town:

Brian Reed hosts two radio shows, Serial and This American Life, who helps John B. McLemore restore an antique clock. John B. McLemore lives in Woodstock, Alabama or, "S-town" as he calls it, an an antique clock restorer. The reason Brian went to S-town is to meet with Jake Goodson. He was the guy who told John about the police officer pulling people over and sexually abusing them. Time in this podcast is described as a concept that humans constructed themselves. Brian feels that people have always had a sense of time since people have always found ways to keep track of it. John fixes antique clocks because he became fascinated with the concept of time when he was a teenager.

Ysrael:

Ysrael was famous because a pig apparently ate off a good part of his face when he was younger. People wanted to see what the deformities looked like a basically make fun of him. Yunior and Rafa are in the campo because their mother worked long shifts at the chocolate factory nearby and didn't have time to take care of them during their summer break. Yunior and Rafa don't have a good relationship but that's normal for siblings. Rafa rarely talks to Yunior unless its to hell Yunior to "Shut Up" unless he was PO'd then he would use more harsh words.
